Our name

Founders Dylan McGreevy and Andrew Johnson named the company "Widget Media". This was built by combining the word "Widget", which are stand-alone application that can be embedded into third party sites and Media which refers to entertainment and/or news. The combined name reflects how technology has advanced, and small applications are constantly becoming more powerful.

AndrOCS

AndrOCS is a OCS (Office Communications Server) client for the Android mobile operating system. The client has currently only been tested on OCS 2007 R2. AndrOCS is also targeted for Android 1.6 and above.

The road ahead

A lot has changed since the company developed its first web-part. We have grown and expanded our offerings from a SharePoint web-part to a growing range of products and services. We now have a flash games website, GDKingdom and are currently developing a OCS client for the Google Android Platform. But some things will never change: Our goal to offer users more tools, applications, web services and client side software.
